U3A Epsom is one of the more than 80 U3A's in New Zealand. We have around 200 members. It is managed by a committee which is elected every November at our AGM. We meet monthly at Royal Oak Bowls, 146 Selwyn St, Onehunga from 10am-12 noon on the second Thursday of every month (Feb-Nov). We invite a guest speaker at every meeting and offer morning tea and time for socialising. An opening speech by the President and any announcements from the committee will be made at 10am before tea time. The speaker normally starts at 11am.
Beyond monthly meetings, we have around 25 interest groups covering a wide range of topics. Members are encouraged to join at least one or more interest groups to explore new ideas, share knowledge, and enjoy learning together, reflecting the core philosophy of U3A.
